| With sensors miniaturized light enough to be carried by a drone, a whole new era of exploration has opened up. New drone/sensor systems can be easily mobilized and operated economically. Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) is a major one. The issue of landmines and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) is the major concern that we are focusing on today. A drone-sensor system can be a valuable tool in the demining of an area. The picture here shows how simple it can be to mobilize such a system and trained team to the area of need. |
