a) Use of AI to deselect non-target signals

While the first focus has been on magnetic detection techniques,detecting the insertion site of non-magnetic landmines and IEDs is also being considered. In addition, some non-military applications are aimed at avoiding disastrous events such as the recent Brazil mine tailings pond collapse.
